Employment Law Update: Managing Compliance and Risk in 2022

     https://northernak.shrm.org

NASHRM is offering extended training for the month of February on February 17, 2022. Training will be delivered using Zoom, an online audio and web conferencing platform. Our start time is 8:45 a.m. for sign-in, with the program running from 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This training is expected to be approved for SHRM and HRCI credits. As this is an extended training session, there will be a cost of $50 to attend.

If you plan to attend, please email Traci Gatewood, Traci@g2diverse.com by Tuesday, February 15, 2022, and the link will be sent to you.  Once you are registered, Sallie Stuvek, NASHRM treasurer, will contact you to collect the payment information.

In this live webinar, Alaskan lawyers Gregory Fisher and Renea Saade, Shareholders with the international firm Littler and Mendelson, will share their insight on new employment and labor laws and enforcement initiatives adopted on a national and local level that impact employers, discuss potential changes in workplace law on the horizon, and provide helpful guidance on how employers should navigate the new “normal” of hybrid workforces and an increase in accommodation requests in a way that helps maintain compliance and strong employee relations but mitigates legal risks.

Attendees will receive an overview of recent laws, regulations and agency announcements that impact employment relationships and helpful tips on how Human Resource professionals can achieve compliance and minimize risk associated with the same.  Attendees will also receive practical advice on how to navigate some of the most common challenges employers are currently facing – how to navigate and manage hybrid workforces and the significant increase in workplace accommodation requests.
