Vaccine Mandates, Accommodations, and Discrimination—What Alaska HR Professionals Need to Know
In this training, Perkins Coie  partner Michael O’Brien will provide an overview of the rapidly evolving vaccine mandate landscape in Alaska.  In particular, he will discuss the federal contractor executive order, the OSHA vaccinate or test standards, and frameworks for reviewing ADA and religious accommodation requests.  Participants will come away from this training with a better understanding of the legal framework around vaccination, anticipated legal challenges to these standards, and best practices around accommodations.

The November NASHRM training is scheduled for Thursday, November 18, 2021. Training will be delivered using Zoom, an online audio and web conferencing platform. If you plan to attend, please reply to this email by Tuesday, November 16, 2021, and the link will be sent to you.

Our start time is 11:45 a.m. for sign-in, with the program running from 12:00-1:00 p.m. This presentation is expected to be approved for SHRM credits.

Training will be provided by Michael O'Brien
