    NASHRM Meeting: Jumpstarting a Professional Development Program

    The March NASHRM training is scheduled for Thursday, March 18, 2021. Training will be delivered using Zoom, an online audio and web conferencing platform. If you plan to attend, please reply to this email by Tuesday, March 16, and the link will be sent to you.


    Our start time is 11:45 a.m. for sign-in, with the program running from 12:00-1:00 p.m. This presentation has been approved for SHRM and HRCI (pending) credits.


    Implementing a professional development program can positively impact employee engagement. This session will be presented by Jess Piek and will address the significance and value of establishing a professional development program and present a case study for how to get started on developing one.


    Jess Piek has an MA in English Composition from North Dakota State University and has experience in instructional design and curriculum development. Currently, she works as a Professional Development Specialist for Foundation Health Partners. She believes that employee engagement is established and maintained through the cultivation of a learning culture that affords employees opportunities for growth and development.
