    The December NASHRM luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital in the Bentley room.

    Our start time is 11:45 a.m. for sign-in, with the program running from 12:00-1:00 p.m. A full hour of educational instruction is required for SHRM-CP/SCP Credit. This presentation has been approved for SHRM and HRCI credits.  

    This presentation will provide an overview of the Army’s transition program and how HR professionals can leverage it to source and hire qualified candidates. Participants will gain a greater understanding of a Soldier’s post-separation goals and how to use the Career Skills Program to screen and hire potential candidates. 

    April Rogers is Career Skills Program Installation Administrator for the Soldier the Soldier for Life – Transition Assistance Program.  She has been working with Soldiers in various capacities for more than 17 years. 

    Rick Steele is the Transition Services Manager for the Soldier for Life – Transition Assistance Program.  He is a former Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corps. 

    NASHRM will no longer be providing lunch; as such, there is no fee for NASHRM members to attend the training. Lunch can be purchased at the Café at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, or you may bring your lunch. Training will start promptly at noon. Please arrive early enough to get your lunch and be present in the training room for an on-time start.
