The September NASHRM luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.
Our new start time is 11:45 a.m. for sign-in, with the program running from 12PM-1PM. A full hour of educational instruction is required for SHRM-CP/SCP Credit. This presentation has been approved for SHRM and HRCI Credits.
Dianna Gould will present Key Elements of an Effective Talent Acquisition Strategy. With U.S. unemployment at a historically low rate, the competition for talent is heating up, and companies are expected to face increasing completion for the best people to help them succeed.
In this session, attendees will learn about current recruiting trends and how to develop an effective talent acquisition strategy with six key elements: 1) Workforce Planning 2) Brand Building 3) Sourcing and Recruiting 4) New Technologies 5) Comprehensive Onboarding, and 6) Use of Data Analytics.
Dianna has been an HR professional for more than 20 years. She is currently the Pacific West Field Services Director for SHRM. Before joining SHRM, she had experience as an HR professional working for start-up firms to Fortune 500 companies. She has worked in the high tech, international export, manufacturing, and service industry. Dianna served as the President of the SHRM Portland Human Resource Management Association and also served as the Director for the SHRM Oregon State Council.
She has obtained her SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation and is also certified as a CAE (Certified Association Executive). Continuous learning and professional development have been the cornerstone of her career.
NASHRM will no longer be providing lunch, as such, there is no fee for NASHRM members to attend the training. Lunch can be obtained at the Café at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, or you may bring your lunch. Training will start promptly at noon. Please arrive early enough to get your lunch and be present in the training room for an on-time start.
We will also discuss board membership for the upcoming year.
This presentation will be approved for SHRM and HRCI education credits.
