    The November NASHRM luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.

    Our new start time is 11:45 a.m. for sign-in, with the program running from 12PM-1PM. A full hour of educational instruction is required for SHRM-CP/SCP Credit. This presentation has been approved for both SHRM and HRCI Credits.

    Traci Gatewood will present Generational Gems: Balancing the Needs and Work Styles of High-Value Assets for Organizational Success. When addressing diversity in the workplace, generational diversity is often overlooked or inadequately addressed. This training will focus on:

    • generational stereotypes that hinder effectiveness;
    • workplace behaviors, strengths and struggles for different generations;
    • sources of potential conflict; and
    • strategies to increase effective work and team relationships between generations.

    Traci Gatewood is the owner of G2 Diversified Services, which provides consistent, high quality, individualized services that assist organizations to avoid or reduce risk exposure, address compliance issues, and to improve effectiveness. She holds a Master of Science in Business Organizational Management with a Concentration in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She has over twenty (20) years of experience in personnel, budget, project, and grants management.

    Traci has been an active board member on several not-for-profit agencies including Big Brothers Big Sisters, United Way of the Tanana Valley, Adult Learning Programs of AK, and the FNSB Health and Social Services Commission. Traci is currently serving on the FNSB Salaries and Emoluments Commission and the City of Fairbanks Fact-Finding Commission. Traci serves as the VP of Programs for the Northern Alaska SHRM Chapter.

    NASHRM will no longer be providing lunch, as such, there is no fee for NASHRM members to attend the training. Lunch can be obtained at the Café at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, or you may bring your lunch. Training will start promptly at noon. Please arrive early enough to get your lunch and be present in the training room for an on-time start.
